Bella as Dr. Fine and Dr. Madden in Next to Normal at River Front Theatre Company. Photography by James McDonald.
"While Bella Elizabeth plays two smaller roles, she lights up the stage. The young woman has star quality. She is perfectly cast as a rock star psychiatrist, or, more aptly, a psychiatrist who is perceived as a rock star" - Michael Buzzelli ('Burgh Vivant).
Bella plays Mr. Davidson and General Macnamara in The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals with Ghostlight Theatre Company. Photography by Caleb McCartney.
"Carstea absolutely kills it as both Mr. Davidson and General Macnamera. Her performance of “What do you want, Paul?” is when the show starts making the transition from good to great. This is in no small part due to Carstea’s command of the space" - Vincent Tate (The Globe)
Bella originates the role of Troublemaker in the global premiere of One Night: Ultimate Werewolf by Mando Gonzalvez. Photography by Madyn Harris.
"Written by Mando Gonzalvez ... this story follows a group of villagers in the town of Clifton as they grapple with their own identities and a growing werewolf threat. With supernatural forces at play, the line between friend and foe blurs, leading to a dramatic confrontation where survival comes at a heartbreaking cost" - Robert Fornataro (The Globe)
Bella plays Megan Jones in Puffs with Small Town Stars.
"Carstea tackles the moody, emo, and edgy Megan Jones. She’s got a permanent ice chip on her shoulder, which inevitably melts the more Puff-y she becomes. This trio of talent really gives a rousing performance ... and their story becomes one that, despite laughing all the way through, you actually care about" - Amanda N. Gunther (Theatre Bloom)
Bella plays Countess Lily in the state premiere of Anastasia at Glenelg High School.
"Bella Carstea was born to be Lily... Just stunning" - Alisanna Vincent (Glenelg Theatre Department)
Bella voices Berry Cake Jr, Sally the Seal, and P.A.I.G.E in Plushiemaker's FIve Nights at Berry Cakes.
Five Nights at Berry Cakes is an indie FNAF fan Game that balances the unease of FNAF with all the levity of a comedic parody. Bella originates three roles in this game including the title character, Berry himself!
